In-Brief Videos

our approach

Storytelling provides a creative way to put complex topics into context, and to jumpstart a process of developing a deeper understanding.

First, we gather information on the topic, and work to write clever narratives that make an impact. Next, we decide how to tell the story visually, and hold the viewers' attention. The simplicity of our tools: paper cut-outs, a white board, dry erase markers, and our hands, combined with a stop animation video process, delight learners of all ages.

In our past instructional design work, we have used pictures and stories to explain difficult concepts. With positive results, we continue to use this approach with In-Brief Videos.

design approach

We use an instructional systems design approach to creating In-Brief Videos. This involves understanding our target audience and the learning objective so we "get the picture". With input from experts and others with a stake in the topic, we are able to produce authentic, compelling videos.
